Encore Restoration (“Encore,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle personal information collected through encorerestoration.ca and related contact channels, including phone and email. We operate in Canada (excluding Quebec) and align our practices with the principles of the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy laws.
Legal entity note: Full legal entity name and registered mailing address will be confirmed and updated here. Until then, contact us using the channels below.
1. Information we collect
We may collect personal information that you voluntarily provide, including:
- Name, email address, telephone number
- Role or title, company or organization
- Inquiry type and message content
- Any other information you choose to include in correspondence
When you visit our website, standard technical data may be processed by our hosting provider (for example, IP address, browser type, device information, and pages viewed) for security, performance, and diagnostics. We do not currently operate advertising trackers for third-party ad networks on this site.
2. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- Respond to inquiries and provide information about our services
- Handle confidential career, ownership, and professional conversations
- Coordinate with insurers, adjusters, loss consultants, property managers, and facility stakeholders when you request it
- Improve our website, security, and operations
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your personal information.
3. Confidential career and ownership inquiries
Encore welcomes confidential contact from project managers, site supervisors, and other industry professionals exploring employment or ownership opportunities. Messages sent via our form, confidential@encorerestoration.ca, or telephone are treated with discretion. Access is limited to personnel who need the information to respond. We will not contact your current employer without your explicit instruction.
4. Consent
By submitting a form, emailing us, or calling us, you consent to our collection and use of the information you provide for the purposes described in this policy. You may withdraw consent subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice, by contacting us using the details below. Withdrawal may limit our ability to respond to your request.
5. Sharing of information
We may share personal information with:
- Service providers who support our operations (for example, hosting, email, or IT providers) under obligations to protect the information
- Professional advisors or insurers when necessary to manage a legitimate business matter you have initiated
- Authorities when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security
The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to reject automated submissions. Completing that check sends a verification token, and technical data such as your IP address, to Cloudflare. Encore receives only the pass or fail result. When the check passes, the details you entered are emailed to confidential@encorerestoration.ca through our email provider so we can reply.
We do not share career inquiry details with third parties for marketing purposes.
6. Retention
We retain personal information only as long as needed for the purposes collected, including legitimate business records, dispute resolution, and legal requirements. When information is no longer required, we securely destroy or anonymize it where practicable.
7. Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we encourage you not to send highly sensitive personal identifiers (such as government ID numbers or bank details) through the website form.
8. Cookies and similar technologies
Our site may use essential cookies or local storage required for basic functionality and security. If we introduce analytics in the future, we will update this policy and, where required, provide additional notice or controls.
9. International transfers
Our primary operations are in Canada. If a service provider processes data outside Canada, information may be subject to the laws of that jurisdiction. We take reasonable steps to ensure appropriate protection.
10. Access and correction
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to personal information we hold about you, or request a correction of inaccurate information, by contacting us. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
11. Children
Our website and services are directed to business and industry professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
