Specialized recovery for complex environments

Encore Restoration is an employee-owned Canadian firm, based in Vancouver, BC, that specializes in large and complex industrial, commercial, institutional, and course-of-construction disaster restoration across Canada except Quebec. We do not restore residential carpets as a business model. We restore industrial systems, commercial portfolios, institutional facilities, and course of construction losses — environments where downtime, schedule pressure, and documentation all matter.

Why Canada trusts focused specialists

Course of Construction

Course-of-construction restoration is Encore Restoration’s response when fire, water, collapse, storm, or construction-related damage hits an active build, renovation, or expansion. The firm is employee-owned, serves Canada except Quebec, and uses the same large-loss discipline as occupied ICI work. Assigned files are 24/7.

Losses that strike while a building is still under construction, renovation, or expansion are a distinct class of work. Incomplete envelopes, temporary power, open floors, staged materials, and multi-trade sites change every mitigation decision. Encore handles course of construction (COC) and builders-risk style recoveries with the same large-loss discipline we apply to occupied ICI facilities — sequenced for safety, schedule, and claim documentation.

Whether the trigger is fire, water, collapse, storm, or construction-related damage, we stabilize the site, protect undamaged work-in-progress, and restore a clear path for the general contractor, owner, and insurer to get the project moving again.

  • Emergency stabilization on active construction sites
  • Protection of work-in-progress, materials, and installed systems
  • Water extraction, drying, and fire/smoke remediation mid-build
  • Coordination with GCs, developers, project managers, and COC/builders-risk carriers
  • Documentation that supports scope, delay context, and defensible recovery options

Questions about Encore services

These answers restate Encore Restoration’s four published pillars and the limits around them. The firm is employee-owned, based in Vancouver, and works across Canada except Quebec. Residential carpet cleaning is not a pillar. Assigned files are 24/7 and follow Stabilize, Assess, Recover, Rebuild, with a 72-hour documentation target.

What is ICI restoration?

ICI restoration is disaster restoration for industrial, commercial, and institutional buildings. Encore Restoration applies it to large and complex losses and also handles course-of-construction and builders-risk work. The sequence is Stabilize, Assess, Recover, Rebuild. It is not a residential, contents, or carpet-cleaning service.

What are Encore Restoration's four service lines?

Condo, strata, and commercial restoration; industrial and manufacturing recovery; institutional facilities; and course of construction, including builders risk. Each is large and complex work across Canada except Quebec. Residential carpet cleaning is not a line. The method is Stabilize, Assess, Recover, Rebuild.

Does Encore Restoration handle residential jobs?

No. Encore Restoration does not restore residential carpets as a business model and does not run a residential service line. Condo, strata, and multi-tenant buildings are in scope when the loss is a large or complex property file. Detached-home and contents cleaning are not the work the firm is built for.

Which parts of Canada does Encore Restoration serve?

All of Canada except Quebec: British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland and Labrador, Yukon, Northwest Territories, and Nunavut. Teams mobilize from a Vancouver, BC head-office presence. One phone number: 236-836-2673. Named cities are deployment regions, not branch offices.

What documentation do adjusters receive in the first 72 hours?

Where relevant on an assigned file: project file access in about 1 hour; an initial report and budgets in about 24 hours, including thermal imaging with the photo summary; floor plans, photo logs, moisture documentation, and equipment placement in about 72 hours. Repair breakdowns are a 14-day target. Response is 24/7.

How do confidential career or ownership conversations work?

Project managers and site supervisors can write confidential@encorerestoration.ca, call 236-836-2673, or use the contact form and choose Career and ownership. Encore limits access to people who need it to respond, and will not contact a current employer without explicit instruction.
